BEYBLADE EPISODE 3 TAKE IT TO THE MAX

Takao and Kyojyu meet Max Mizuhara (Max Tate in the English dub and the versions based on it), the new kid in town, just before a puppy is washed away to a waterfall. Takao attempts to save him, but fails. Max then tries, and succeeds. Max and Takao battle in Max's dad's shop, but Max wins, due to his defensive-type Beyblade. Daitokuji Kaichou (president of the BBA (Beyblade Battle Association), named Stanley A. "Kaichou" in the English dub and the versions based on it) then arrives and informs them of the Beyblade Battle Tournament, and they are all looking forward to it. Kyojyu and Takao argue over Takao's cockiness that his Bey need not be improved. Takao then attempts to control the Dragoon, and succeeds, while Kyojyu is watching through the window. They then become friends again.

Takao quickly loses his battle with Kai. Andrew and Kyojyu inform him that the Blade Sharks are looking for the ultimate Bit Beast nobody can beat. Andrew, Kyojyu and Takao rebuild Takao's Bey. Meanwhile, Kai then orders Carlos' Bey be destroyed. Kai's goons kidnap Kyojyu to use his laptop to find the ultimate Bey. Takao asks the Dragoon for guidance when Dragoon goes right into his Bey. Takao then re-challenges Kai, and they draw.

Tyson Granger realises he is running of late for a Beyblade battle with Andrew, the best Beyblader in town. Before Tyson gets there, a Blade Shark named Carlos fights and defeats him, taking his blade. Tyson arrives and snaps, challenging him to a battle at 3:00 at the river next day. A boy named Kenny becomes friends with Tyson, and they crack that they need a faster Bey to defeat Carlos' heavier one. Tyson attempts, but gives up, and suddenly the Great Dragoon, a power that has been in the family from generations, comes to Tyson. Tyson again tries and finally defeats Carlos. However, Kai, the leader of the Blade Sharks, arrives and Tyson challenges him to a battle.

A young boy named Tyson (Takao Kinomiya) enters the Japan Regional Beyblade Qualifying Tournament. Tyson encounters Ray Kon (Rei Kon) and Kai Hiwatari, and after defeating them, they organize a team, known as the Bladebreakers, along with Max Tate (Max Mizuhara), and Kenny tags along the bladebrakers as Chief or their financial and other matters manager. The Bladebreakers tour China to register for the championships, while confronting the White Tigers, Ray's former team. It is seen that Ray's old team holds a grudge against him for leaving them, but towards the end of the Chinese Tournament, Ray and his ex-teammates make amends, and the Bladebreakers win the tournament. After this, Tyson and his friends arrive in the United States to fight the All Starz, who are coached by Max's mother. After winning the American league, the team find themselves stranded in Europe. In order to be in the beyblade championship they must beat the Euro Team, which proves to be a challenge but eventually defeat the Euro Team while also becoming stronger.
